The Email Marketing Manager position is for an individual with a great eye for detail and creative energy. This role will be responsible for supporting the other email team members, creating unforgettable visual content that engages consumers in their inboxes for retail and publication businesses. Our ideal candidate is someone who is accurate and organized, but most important is a team player that can work under deadline pressure and help in juggling new tasks & ongoing projects.
Responsibilities:
- Support email team members and oversee the execution of email sending and list growth
- Develop and implement a comprehensive and creative content strategy that aligns with our clients brand objects and target audience
- Create catchy subject lines to drive user engagement and increase overall KPI’s
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and development, to ensure content aligns with business goals, brand guidelines, and user experience
- Monitor and analyze email performance, open rates, click through rates, deliverability, etc to make data-driven decisions for ongoing optimization efforts
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and email best practices to proactively identify opportunities for improvement and ensure compliance
- Conduct competitor analysis to identify content gaps and opportunities for differentiation.

What You’ll Need
- We don’t care about degrees, if you’ve got one cool, but if you don’t also cool
- Must possess skills and traits that can’t be taught, such as being reliable, a hard worker, etc. We can teach you everything you need to know for your role
- 2 years of small to mid-size agency experience, or 4 years of freelance, or a combination of the two is preferred but is not required. Applicants with no experience are not excluded from consideration
- Proficiency with email software is preferred but is not required
- Excellent communication and ability to collaborate with other teams (both internally at the agency level, and externally at the client level)
- Detail oriented and highly organized to manage multiple clients, sites, projects, and priorities at an effective level
